La creación de un OPC viene dada por dominar los siguientes conceptos:

Aguas abajo: lectura hacia el bus de campo o red de control.

El protocolo OPC es a nivel de Sistema Operativo para la intercomunicación de software de supervisión o similares

Aguas arriba también es diferenciar:

InTouch necesita conectarse a un bus de campo no soportado y para ello se instalo en un servidor de comunicaciones Kepserver con dicho protocolo. Cómo entonces hacemos conversar InTouch con Kepserver?
InTouch se conecta como cliente OPC con su software FSGateway mientras que Kepserver actúa como servidor OPC proporcionando toda la información que le solicite InTouch.

Teniendo eso en cuenta lo que viene es la configuración del OPC. Eso es motivo de otro post.

Puedo hacer configuración de los OPC TopServer y Kepserver. Cual les gustaría que abordara primero?
